season 3
The art of endurance: Cultivating Creative Resilience in Uncertain Times
Digital cohort, 4 weeks
$399
This season, No Small Talk expands beyond Los Angeles, embracing the digital space to deepen our reach. Grounded in research and community feedback, this shift isn’t just about accessibility, it’s about strengthening creative resilience in an era of uncertainty.
For our third season, we’re turning inward once again. Entitled, The Art of Endurance: Cultivating Creative Resilience in Uncertain Times, over the course of four weeks, participants will engage in guided discussions, interdisciplinary exploration, and structured play, using The Creative Act by Rick Rubin as a foundation.
More than anything, this is a study in adaptation. Research suggests that the same cognitive pathways activated in survival mode are also engaged in creative thinking. What happens when we shift from reacting to creating?
What to Expect
Duration: April 8, April 15, April 22, April 29
Sessions: Tuesdays, 5:30P - 7P PST

Led by Jennifer Pauline and Miriam Tinberg, this cohort is shaped by years of experience in community-centered programming, media, and creative facilitation. We don’t just host discussions, we design intentional spaces that spark meaningful connection, deep reflection, and creative breakthroughs.
Through live conversations, curated media, journaling, and reflection, this experience invites participants to step out of survival mode and into possibility, reclaiming creative agency in the face of the unknown.
